Not just for actors! Headshot sessions are for anyone who needs an image of their face — maybe it’s for a website, flyer, or other marketing material.

Many actors are quite naturally charming & comfortable in front of the camera even without knowing the photographer but I am more than happy to meet in-person before the shoot so we can chat it up a bit before the big day.  I also highly recommend arranging a conversation between myself and your agent if the shoot is intended to produce specific shots for his or her submissions. It will be worth the time & effort to get it right the first time – agents are people, too, and may have pet peeves about photos we will never know about unless we ask.  If you are new to the industry, during our consultation I will discuss some general things to keep in mind for your shots & help you determine what you want them to “say.”

All consultations may be done in person, by phone, or over email — whatever your preferred method of communication. Headshots are shot in a garage and/or various outdoor locations in Toluca Lake. Like all my sessions, the shoot is fully customized & locations are chosen to best suit your particular session.

All sessions require a 50% deposit to book a certain day & time.  The deposit is transferrable once (should you need to reschedule) & after one rescheduling becomes non-refundable. Thank you for respecting my time!

Academy Winner: $450

Additional retouching beyond what comes with the package $20 per image
Disc of Images:  9.75% sales tax on session fee (CA state law requires tax to be charged on any service that results in a tangible item.  If you opt to receive your images on a disc rather than via a zip file, I’m required to charge you sales tax. There is no difference in the files. I know – it’s weird.)

Mini-Sessions
Repeat customers are eligible to book a mini-session – These are only available to those who have previously shot with AKeiganPhoto.

Offered only one day a month, a mini-session is perfect for when your agent requests a certain type of shot, you update your haircut or color, or you want to test out a new “look” with casting directors. The first person to contact me for a mini-session each month sets the day, then others are welcome to book the additional time slots.
