paso robles, morro bay | paso robles vineyard photographer

paso, a favorite place to spend a long weekend.

this is our ?fifth? overnight trip to the area and i’m nowhere near tired of it yet. pretty much every other place, one visit is enough for me.

last mlkj weekend we camped two nights in morro bay before spending two days in paso.

camping is always fun because we make it so. our set-up is comfortable and we usually go to nice restaurants instead of having camp food. so basically it’s just getting to sleep outside in fresh air, in pretty surroundings. and the shower situations make me feel like i should earn some kind of medal afterwards, so i like that too.

morro bay is a cute little town decorated with lots of bird poop.

the big lump is morro rock:

there’s a couple making out at the end of the pier there.

we enjoyed some hot tub time in the natural mineral springs of sycamore springs in avila beach. hot tub places are nice in theory, especially when you’re camping, but they always have the skeezy feel of a rent-by-the-hour hotel.

probably because they are rent-by-the-hour and most of the people you see there are skeezy.

while camping, we had a delicious dinner at hoppe’s in cayucos.

on the way to paso, we had an amazing (perfect?) brunch at linn’s in cambria.
